Owner Link Attribute Mapping

Hello,

 

is there any OOTB possibility to keep attributes synced on WTPart and EPMDoc, when associated by Owner Link and the Attribute names do NOT match?

Just restating for clarity. Are you saying on the EPMDoc you have an attribute A that needs to map to attribute B on the WTPart? Any reason that you cannot have them match? It might be easier than customization. I believe there is a way to map CAD attributes inside of the CAD system to parameters on the EPMDocument.  Would that help you?

I just add that you can define the mapping in the type and attribute management for IBA attribute.

you can define a attribute that is used in the Creo/NX/Catia/others that is populated to the EPMDocument attribute in Windchill

 

Here is an example for MASS_CAD that is populated from Creo PRO_MP_MASS
