Report is running for hours while executing Jasper Report

Jasper report is getting executed for hours and not generating the output.

Please find the below image.

Note :

Successful preview in Jasper Studio

No errors in MS logs

I would have the DBA monitor for long running queries. Perhaps the report is doing a massive cross-product or is inefficient. If nothing is going on with the database, its possible that the browser/webserver timed out.  In that case, it will never return and nothing is running on the back end.
