Save As API

Hello everyone,

 I need to write a WebService that act as Save As action in Windchill.

This means that i have to duplicate part, assembly, drawing and related relationships.

My idea is to get the complete BOM of the original part and then: duplicate part,duplicate assembly, duplicate drawing and re load the reationships... huge amount of work.

I wondering if there is a better way to do the task.
