Set state action

Is it possible to configure set state action to show different target states for different roles irrespective of life cycle template?

We have requirement - User assigned to specifi role should not be able to see the "xxxxx' state under target state while performing set state action

I don't think you can control this with Set State directly. I'd recommend looking into using a promotion request.

Thanks for your reply. This requirement is specific to set state only. Is it possible to achieve this through customization?

Have you already tested to see how the Set state wizard acts when you have defined all available Set state transitions in your lifecycle, and then assigned the appropriate Set state permissions to different Roles through the Policy Administration?
