Thingworx Navigate Learning Tutorial, Development guide and Helpful resources.

Hi,

 

Please suggest PTC Navigate Tutorial and Learning Guide for Development Navigate Apps.

 

1. Getting Started Guide suggest if any.

2. Tutorials and Learning Documentation.

3. Cross platform Integration Guides (FlexPLM, Thingworx Foundation, Edge Devices, Windchill) if any.

4. Use cases on app development and application (Hands-on Tutorial) if any.

 

Please let me know useful links/resources for PTC Navigate.

Navigate is an app built on top of ThingWorx with the specific function of connecting to and searching within Windchill. It is not compatible with other apps such as Flex, Traces, Manufacturing Apps, or Flow, and should not be installed on a ThingWorx instance that also includes any of those apps. Applicable guides would include the Navigate installation and Configuration guide for your version.

 

Apps are developed in ThingWorx, not Navigate but there is a guide for Navigate called Customizing ThingWorx Navigate 8.5. You may also find the Windchill REST Services User’s Guide helpful as requesting data from Windchill is performed by making REST calls.

 

PTC University is available and provides many training classes that may be helpful.

1. PTC Navigate customization, developer guide

2. Tutorial links.

3. Any use case with steps to build PTC Navigate apps with Integration with Windchill (using connector).
