90 degrees toroidal bend

Hey guys, 

 

I am trying to perform a toroidal bend and my coordinate system is not taking the 90 degrees angle to the line I have defined as a sketch. Any ideas why?

Are there any kind of error messages or information in the troubleshooter?

no messages. It just says that the KE can not be regenerated.

You might post the file if allowed. 

There are occasions when things close to a loop that they fail. 

Without looking at the geometry, it is hard to say why it fails.

Switching the angle at the toroidal bend from 179 to 180 degrees causes the bend to not be applied anymore.
