For managing large assemblies shrinkwrap substitutions seams to be the solution. I wanted to reach out to industry professionals who manage large assemblies with a few questions below. (on a side note its funny when SW experts tout they manage large assemblies just fine. We learn their idea of a large assembly is 500 parts.
Do you always work for Solids as opposed to open surfaces? - Open surfaces are a struggle for a surfacing expert LOL
What time savings do you notice for time savings with respect to open times & drawings times?
Has anyone really used the faceted version of this workflow?
