Is there a keyword you need to use in the instance column to instruct IFX to pull a part a part with a ".asm" extension?

What fastener do you have that is an assembly?

Everything I have seen in the IFX are all .prt part files.

some downloaded parts (locknuts) from McMaster-Carr. If I have to, I can remodel them, but I seem to remember there being a way to indicate a .asm extension. I just can't find any reference to it in the help text

I have seen some downloaded part assemblies that are only a dummy assembly with a single part in that file which is a .prt part and what is actually what you want.

Hi,

it is not possible to use assemblies with IFX.

You only can add parts. In the new file structure you only have to specify the name of fastener, without extension. IFX then search for a template part (if the fastener not already exist) and create your new fastener PART.
