ATB bus for design/mech workflow
Hey folks
Anyone got tips or opinions about setting up a workflow between Industrial Design and Mech using the ATB bus?
The plan is to reuse the ID files (made in Unigraphics NX since it suits us a better) in the engineering world of ProEngineer Wildfire 5/PDMLink, is this a stable way of working ? The industry is quite heavy on iterations, so the design files will change once a week probably, so it needs to update properly without to much hands-on activities to make the mech files update to the latest design. It seems to work in test/small project environment, but will it crash like a bomb as soon as we go live for real ?
Any of you guys using a similar approach ?
