Automization of Drawing Templates

Hi friends,

We are creating templated for our new organisation. We have alomst completed it. We are stuck at assiging relation of Component Weight. Actually we have tried several methods but weight is not reflected automatically in drawing title block. Can anybody support us in this?

Dear Waqar

If you need to manage "Component Weight" in your drawing - do you need to set:

1. Custom material list for your start models / start parts (system automaticaly set correct density for mass properties)

2. Set configuration option: mass_property_calculate automatic (sytem automaticaly recalculate mass for your models/assemblies)

3. Then, if you create relation:

MASS=CEIL(MP_MASS(""),3)

sytem create for you parameter: MASS (approximated to 3 decimal places)

4. In the drawing template >> create table and set in the table cell &mass

5. Check your settings
