Aux view scale and arrows

I have not had to make detailed drawings forsome time now and I wondered if there has ever been a fix or work around for the following:

1. Can we finally make an Aux View a different scale than the parent without making it a General View?

2. related to the question 1...will I be able to keep my projection arrowsif I can make the Aux View a different scale?

I see a work-around happening for this. What I would do is make the
Auxiliary View a partial view as well. That way you can highlight, or
encircle, the area that you wanted or needed to show. IF that is not an
option I would recommend creating views in your model with the same
orientation as this AUGIE View.



Key point here: you have options.

That's an extra view that I don't want. Plus...as soon as General View is applied my arrows disappear. I can get a unique scale provided I have a General View or I can get arrows provided I have a common scale, but not both.

I wonder if ANSI has a rule that disallows an Aux View that is a different scale than the parent view.
