BOM table - Removing parts & Description Wont Show

Is there a way to hide items in a bom table? Also is it possible to go back and edit your common name when first setting up a .prt file? When trying to get my description to show I set a repeat region: mbr > ptc_commom_name then updated the table and only one shows up, one I dont even need.

For my parts I have a parameter "DESCRIPTION" that I use in the BOM's for putting the description in the tables.

You can hide items in repeate region using Filter command.

I guess you can modify PTC_COMMON_NAME by setting relation

PTC_COMMON_NAME="this is my model no.1"

and regeneration. Then you can remove the relation.
