Cosmetic thread : mass calculation

Does anyone know a mean to include the cosmetic thread in the mass calculation (PRO_MP_MASS)?

By definition, a cosmetic feature of any kind cannot be part of mass properties calculations.

If the parts are modeled to the pitch diameter there is little difference between the actual volume/mass and the approximated volume/mass.

Thank you for your answer.It is what I thought but in case of I miss something ...

In our case, the approximated volume/masse is not accurate enough.

For M14 thread, variation is about 3g. Thus for the estimation of a complete batch of 1000 parts, variation become 3kg.

The best solution so far is to model the thread.
