Creating a swept blend using imported reference curves

Hi there,
I don't have any experience in Creo Parametric, and it is many years since I used to use CoCreate fairly infrequently, so hopefully this isn't too stupid a question!
I am trying to create a swept blend between two sketches which I created by importing reference curves extracted from another geometry tool in IGS format.
So far I have managed to create planes aligned to the two curves and create a sketch for each curve by projecting onto each plane. I have then created an arbitrary shaped third sketch within the sketch 2.
My aim is to create a thin walled duct between sketch 1 and sketch 3, with a flat plate connected to the outlet of the duct, extruded between sketch 2 and sketch 3. The aim is then to have the dimensions of sketch 3 editable so that I have a parametric model whereby the size and shape of the duct outlet can be controlled by modifying dimensions.
I have been unable to create the swept blend between sketches 1 and 3. I added a new plane to create my trajectory between the points within the sketches, and following a tutorial I selected the sketches as my sections but was never able to get the part to create. I am not sure if this was because my sketches weren't normal to my trajectory or if I was doing something else wrong. Could anyone have a look at my file and let me know how I should proceed? I am using Creo Parametric 2.0.
