Creating flaten harness when there is no common location

I'm fairly new to Creo cabling and right now is working on flatten harness.

My harness part is simply two connectors, no common location except for from/to different pins between two connectors plus a bundle

I tried to use autofan and manually to lay out - both weren't able to be flatten into one plane rather than floating in the space

As well, I'm not able to move segment for a single wire, it shows "Selected entity is not a line. Select again".

Does anyone have encounter this type of problem and know how to deal with it? Thanks!
