Creo 2.0 tapping routine..

Good morning,
I am noticing in tapping sequence that the tap will ignore
the thread surface and just go all the way down the hole to the drill tip
shoulder if I use automatic end. Before it would stop at the thread depth so
that I don't crash my tap into the blind hole. Has that function changed? I
attached a screen shot for reference.
