Creo 4.0 modeling - view re-orients whenever saved

Just last week my company upgraded to Creo 4.0 from 2.0.  In 4.0 whenever the save button is clicked, the model/assembly on screen will re-orient to the default ISO orientation and switch from shaded with edges to shaded.  I suspect this is a setting within the config file, but a thorough search of the config file did not reveal anything.  I also consulted Google to see if an answer to this question was out there already, but could not find an answer.

What I want: the view of the model/assembly on the screen to not change when I click save.  This is an annoyance that my coworkers and I are seeking a solution for.
