This little video was created by PTC staff when Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 5.0 Preproduction had just been released. It uses the new 3D contact capability (including full material properties, Youngs modulus, damping, friction etc). Thought I'd share here - I like it a lot.

    Good question. I have asked the Swiss AE who did it and I hope I am translating it correctly now...

    The video was done with MDO (Mechanism Dynamic Option). The dice is thrown at an initial speed of x and the rest happens automatically through friction etc. The video itself was rendered with ARX.
