export files from Siemens Solid edge ST8

any tips on how to either export files from Siemens Solid edge ST8 for optimal reading into pro-s of setting in pro-e that will help the imports? i'm having nothing but problems with .stp or x_t or even igs files......nothing works well

Hi,

according to https://support.ptc.com/appserver/cs/view/solution.jsp?n=CS134024 you can open ST8 native files in CR3 M100+ thanks to Creo Unite technology.

any idea what this means?

"selected file is unsupported solid edge version solid edge version prior to v12 file"

damn, i keep striking out with these files, I got a decent file using an old solidworks program and then saving as a pro-e file. It read in without any yellow edges but would NOT make a solid. And then once i got working on the project it started to just dump me out when i'd reopen after working on it.
