Could you please tell if I can save the part file in 4.0 from Wildfire 5.0?

I have only used Wildfire 4.0 and earlier. In these versions you cannot save a file to an earlier version. To put it plainly, if you open a 3.0 part in 4.0, then you will never be able to open it with 3.0 again.

Oh yeah, I did notice a while ago that PTC has a free download for some kind of interoperability between versions. I did not try it and I don't know the specific details such as which versions it can be used with.
