Hi,

when I start the post-processor, it asks me to enter the part number (1234 for example). How can I read this string from CIMFIL?

Thanks,

Paolo.

Are you looking for the fill code? Well there are two ways to ask for the program number. On the option file generator side under the start/End of program number on the general tab there will be a section for output under this section you can check program number and this will add a new tab where you can have the option file do the work instead of writing fil your post may or may not be set up like that. On the fil side of things you can go to Austin NC web site and they have free fil examples on there web site you can look at attached is a prompt fil example off there web site there is a lot of good examples on there web site with comments that tell you what is going on.
