Question

Global interference check

I am running an interference check on a large assembly.  There are thousands of results and the analysis takes a very long time to complete.  A majority of the results aren't real issues (fasteners, foam, etc.) and can be ignored.  Is there a way to "accept" or "remove" these interferences from the results list?  That way if I want to go back and run the analysis again in the future it won't include those in the results list, and ideally it would run the analysis much quicker.

Nope. It starts all over every time. The best it is dealt with is that they usually have very small amounts of interference so you can ignore them on that basis.

Not sure if this solves your problem exactly but have you seen this

It might help to set up some standard simplified reps, where the fasteners etc are excluded or specifically included

Might be good if items to be removed have a simple search string, e.g. screw/bolt/washer.. , on a specific layer or possible a specific parameter value.

Would be interesting to try and automate this by saving the interference list, and generate the reps by type and size or type and area of the assembly...
