Hatch patterns

Does anyone know how to create custom hatch patterns besides line styles, angles and spacing? For example, something like a concrete pattern in Autocad? I need to create a pattern that is more than just straight lines.

Select geometry, edit>hatch/fill, then retrieve. It should default to
the correct folder with the plastic, metals, etc. If not...I'll find out
the location for you.

Same way for 3d geometry. Edit properties in section and retrieve the
type of cross hatch you need.

Thanks for the reply Wayne. But what I really need is a pattern that is not included in the list. I need to know how to create one other than adding lines and changing angles.

This is a common question, has been since I started using it in 1989.

ProE doesn't do anything other than straight lines.

There are no wavy lines, no dot patterns, no shapes and dots like concrete.

You get to choose line angles, spacing, combination of lines, and line fonts, or a solid fill..... That's it.

Pattern hatching can't be done. Pro/E is pretty primitive about hatching,
always has been. You can't even use fonted lines very well because proe
won't align the font dashes in parallel lines.
