Hi

thank you for paying attention to my puzzle !

I want to know how to deal with the the section beam what is varied in EFX?

I mean that 1, You create one line;

2 , Choose a beam what the width of section change from 500 to 700.

I guess you want to have a beam of varied cross section, if so, I guess you have to create a customized beam, its a nice question, I would like to explore this and let you know.

Hello,

1. if you send me E-mail to stefan@buw-soft.de I can provide AFx Basic and Advanced Training material.

2. In princile it is possible to add beam with varied section to AFX library, it requires customization and I can provide some help for this. There are some detail questions i.e. where do you want to meausre section with if beam has mitre cut and ther emay be some restrictions, i.e. when creating joints or placing connections.
