how can we convert wrl files which are facet features in creo and convert into surface?

I found a hint in the answer of a case in our database (have not tried, so please let us know whether it works):

1. Redefine facet feature from model tree
2. Facets > Refine > 4X subdivision > Ok
3. Create curves
4. Create surfaces
5. Merge surfaces
6. Solidify

Hint was for Creo Elements/Pro 5.0, so some menus may have changed in Creo Parametric
