how to select a sub-assembly on screen

Hi all,

I do like the smart filter - but it is far from perfect. You would think that in an assembly environment the smart filter would start with sub-assy's and then part>feature>geometry...

Is there an easy way to select a sub-assy by picking on the screen?

Thanks,

-Nate

try this:

select a part from the sub-assembly on screen then RMB...the last option i guess is "select parent"..that should select the sub-assembly.
