How to turn off the layer preview

I'm in CREO 2.0

I work on drawings that sometimes have thousands of draft items in a layer. Right-clicking on layers gives a preview of the layer, which would normally be great but in my case this previewing takes way longer than is beneficial, and it's more of a hinderance than a help. Is there a way to turn this feature OFF?

Check the config.pro option "highlight_layer_items". I think you will want to set this to "no".
