is it possible to assign material for assembly not individual part?

Hi Haris,

Jayanta is correct, material cannot assign to a assembly. Material needs to be assign to individual parts, logically assembly is a collection of parts and cannot have its own material properties. Assembly will get the information about material properties from parts.

Hi Haris,

Jayanta is correct, material cannot assign to a assembly. Material needs to be assign to individual parts, logically assembly is a collection of parts and cannot have its own material properties. Assembly will get the information about material properties from parts.
