Question

It does not stop when parts interfere with each other

Hello everyone

We are arranging two parts in the assembly with "ball" constraint.
Each does not interfere, it is arranged with a gap of 0.5 mm.

If you execute "dragging component parts" in that state, parts will pass through without stopping at the time of interference.

Changing the gap of parts to 1.0 mm now stops at interference.
Is this a problem?

I would try changing the config option edge_display_quality  to high.

Thank you for your quick reply

I tried changing the configuration setting, but unfortunately the phenomenon did not change.

Did you restart Creo after changing the config option? It should also be changeable in the View menus, but the config option sets it for all graphics and you may want to remove it for normal use.

My thinking is that Creo uses the tessellation of the model and detects interferences based on what is sent to the graphics card for dynamic dragging interference detection rather than a precise calculation.
