Mechanism Max. Limits

Good morning everyone,



I created a basic suspension type assembly. I would like to make a family and vary both the overall collapsed length and the travel distance. I am having trouble trying to vary the travel. I am not able to find the dimension my maximum tavel value is to add it to the family table. I tried the CTRL+F to search, but do not believe I am looking in the right place.


Does anyone know how to add the maximum mechanism travel into a family table so it can be varied? Thank you in advance.

    Thank you for the help, and the answer is simple:



    - In the family table, insert a parameter column.


    - A drop-down menu will appear in the top left hand portion of the window, with "Assembly" as the default.


    - Change the drop-down menu to "Connection."


    - Select the mechanism in question, and all of its dimensional properties appear (including the travel I was looking for).
