Question

Mirrored assembly/ issues updating to parent assembly

We cannot figure out why when we mirror an assembly and update the original part that the mirrored part is not updating?

Is there an easy fix to this or do we have to remodel the mirrored part?

There are issues with updates happening to mirrored parts when you update the original.

Here is a link to a list searching update mirror parts:

Nathan,

If you could provide models or images as to what exactly is happening, that would be helpful too.

I just did a quick test and created a mirror assembly.  I then modified a component and deleted a few features.  The original assembly updated to show that the features were deleted and the mirror assembly also updated, after regenerating it, to show the deleted features.

Thanks,

Amit
