Model Symbol in Drawing View

Late Friday Frustration
I have a nice model symbol that reads the model parameters, plays great in Model Mode. (pic1)
Create a new drawing, Show the note\symbol, and it the orientation is wrong.
But I can see the symbol if I highlight the model view. (pic2, highlight in RED)
Anybody else have this issue? Is there a way to show correctly?
