Question

Play path - CL file in use

Hi, I have noticed a problem thats been in Creo/pro/e for a long time, maybe someone knows how to ifx it?

When I use the 'play path' option, and select a CL file to play, Creo holds on to that CL file until I quit Creo altogether.  This means I can't use an external post processor, delete or rename the CL file if I have used 'play path' with that file.

Erasing everything from session doesn't help, I have to quit creo to be able to do anything with that CL file again.

Does anyone else experience this?

I tried the same and it work without any problem. Play Path > Selected a Cl file > Open > Done, this started CL display and once this was completed Creo was free for further use. It it is not working as expected, try contacting PTC support.

Hi KSM, did you also try to post-process the CL file after playing?  This is my issue, the actual CL file is 'in use' by Creo until I quit.
