Projection view placement in creo drawing

I have a question related to projection views, usually we can project side views from parent view and place along the projected axis (move freely along the projected direction). Is there any ways to limit the movement of projected views, like i don't want projected view move opposite direction to the projected direction and placed other side of the main view. This will make wrong angle of projection.

Unfortunately, I don't believe there is a way to prevent a projection view, after being created, from being moved to the other side of the parent view.

There is always more to learn.

logically it does not required to move opposite direction than the projected direction, PTC can improve this🙂

A projected view can be placed anywhere on a drawing and this provides maximum flexibility. The angle of projection is an arbitrary construct and is fully supported by the implementation of projection views in drawing mode.

Creo is capable of creating and placing views on a drawing for 1st and 3rd angle orthographic projection. It is possible to automate the creation and placement of these views with the current functionality. It is not clear in your argument that the current functionality is lacking in any way.

It seems that you are requesting that Creo act as a drawing checker to enforce the proper placement of projection views. I would classify this as a user competence issue and not a lack of functionality in the tool.

If you want to control the presentation of projected views (i.e. 1st angle or 3rd angle) then create a drawing template that places the views on the drawing in the required positions. If your start part has saved views, then you can control how they are placed on the drawing automatically. This would not prevent a user from manually moving them around, however.
