PTC_WM_Version linked to drawing format

We have a couple of table cells on our drawing format that are linked to the PTC_WM_VERSION so we know the version of the model and drawing.

When a file has been saved to the workspace (but not checked in), the file is shown as modified with a "+" sign following the current version. The "+" used to also show up in the table cell linked to the PTC_WM_VERSION. For some reason it no longer shows up.

How can I get the "+" sign to show up with the version in the table cell?

We are running Windchill PDMLink 10.2 M020  with Creo 3 M120.
