Reference entities not highlighting in Creo 3 dialog, when replacing unrelated

Creo 3, M170

Trying to replace components with unrelated option. In the interchange/tag dialog, after clicking evaluate...I see the two parts, tags, and tag icons on the models. But when I hover or click each tag in the table, no geometry highlights.

Is there a config option or something that I'm missing?

EDIT:
If I click repaint in the window after selecting a tag, the geometry references highlight...but that is a PITA to do after selecting every tag.

EDIT 2:
I see the same behavior when creating an interchange assembly. Tag geometry is not automatically highlighted, requiring a manual repaint in the graphics window to become visible.
