Rename groups in drawing symbols

Hello, I am planning to translate the welding symbol used by our head office in Japan to English. I am unable to find a way to rename the name of groups within the drawing symbol. Redefining the group would be quite a hassle since there's a lack of a tree and there are a lot of objects in the symbol... Not to mention the fact that I'd have to figure out which objects are part of which group. I had a look at the symbol file and it seems to be text based, I can't recognize a structure which would make it hard to do it that way (I can't read Japanese so I want to add a number/letter to each group and then figure out what's what)
