Question
simplified reps of parts
Hi all,
Is there anyway to create a simplified rep of a part but to include specific
features IN??
I don't want to use family tables. It gets to complicated
part1--
|--->Feature1
|--->Feature2
|--->Feature3
|--->Feature4
|--->Feature5
|--->Feature6
|--->CUT7
|--->CUT8
Lets say that I want in my master rep to include all features from 1 to 6
without the features CUT7 & CUT8.
I want to create a simplified rep which includes CUT7 & CUT8.
How can i get this done? without using Family tables???
P.S: For the time being I have ALL features + CUT7 & CUT8 in "Master Rep",
and then I made a new simplified rep
which i called "DEFAULT" where I excluded CUT7 & CUT8. I can't think
something else. This part is my basic part in
my assembly, and somehow I want to create some simplified reps of the basic
assembly including/excluding parts which
are referred to my basic part. That's why i don't want to mess with family
tables and use the Inheritance feature (Which
does the JOB pretty cool)
