Split screen,

Hi All,

Is it possible to split the main modeling window to have different view at the same time in the modeling environment?

This is possible in creo viewer see picture attached.

Hello Nicolas.

In the basic modeling it is not possible split screen.
Split screen is only possible in Style feature.

If you want you can send a proposal to improve the Split Screen: Submitting an Enhancement Request on PTC site.

Nicolas,

You can use WINDOW - NEW to open up multiple windows of the same model. It isn't quite the same as a single split window but it can be useful.

Interesting request - Pro-e, versions 3, 4 and I believe 5 had that functionality built in as an option in the "view" command. That was back when we were all working on 17" monitors... Personally, I didn't care for it and always worked in "full" screen mode.
