Step Color

I read to add:

step_export_format AP214_CD
or
step_appearance_layers_groups YES

To maintain my color when exporting. I am getting all gray.

What's the secret?

Wayne,


I have the following set in my config.pro file:



  • Option: step_export_format



  • Value: ap214_cd



  • Option: step_appearance_layers_groups



  • Value: Yes

It works fine for me. Did you try saving the config.pro file after making the changes, then closing and starting Pro-E again? Try opening the config.pro file again to verify the changes have been made after restarting Pro-E, then export the file as a STEP file for testing.

If your a dummy and you know it...clap your hands (I just did).

I edited the wrong config file.

Thanks Chris T for jarring my mind.

What I had was correct all along.
