Hello, I am trying to export my Pro-E file as a Step file. I can export my model as STP just fine but when i import the file, there is my model, and half of it covered by a triangular block.

I can simply remove this block but is there any way i can export the file so that this block is eliminiated to begin with?

Any comments/ suggestions would be great

thank you

Options

Find

Type in intf and then the system will list all of the configuration file options that begin with intf. This is where you could choose the intf_out_blanked_entities and set its value to no.

Apply

For future reference.

This seemed to solve the issue.

I've had this problem before. The save-as is exporting things that are hidden.

You might be able to use the "Customize Layers" status in the dialog to have it "exclude content" based on layers.

thank you for your response.

I followed your instructions into customize layers.

There are two options

ignore

or

skip

The default is set on ignore.

i tried with all the options on skip but no luck...
