unable to redefine extract id 40 feature in mold cavity , Creo3.0 M030

Hello,

 

I am working on a mold design. I have used an existing assembly in which a reference model is replaced by new one. After redefining all the features, finally unable to redefine the feature 'extract id 40' of a part which is created by extracting mold volume.

 

Any help on this issue! or some one faced similar problem, please share your ideas.

Hi,

 

Can you please explain further what happens when you try to redefine the feautre?  Are you getting any sort of error?

 

Please provide images, if possible.

Hello Amit Deshpande,

 

i have the same problem with the extract id of mold design. I am trying to do a family table with the assembly. The name of the assembly is different for every instance. The extract id Feature is stuck at the name of the generic assembly and will not change to the instance name. How can i fix this?
