Unbend a a blended sheet metal (circle to rectangle)

Hi, How to unbend a blended sheet metal form that has thikness let say circle to rectangle. I need the unbended result. thanx

have u tried the solid bend and flatten quilt feature? u can basically surface copy the sheetmetal part and then use the surface to do a flatten quilt feature. itll take ur bent up surface and flatten it out like a sheetmetal flat state. good luck Carlos
