Will Creo/View have the ability to interogate parameters not only at the Part/Assy level but also at the Feature level?

I have been trying to view model paramaters in Creo View Express, with no luck. Were you able to?

I have a discussion open: Viewing Model Parameters in Creo View Express

I can only get it to work on an .edz file exported from Proe and it only sees the global part/assy parameters. To my knowledge parameters will not come thru if you are viewing the native Proe files. This has been on my wish list for quite some time now as this capability would help our inspectors on the floor tremendously. Hopefully when the whole Creo package comes together Creo/View Express will work better.

Hi

Creo view does not contain parameters at feature level or part feature details.

(Sorry but I believe adding more and more feature to the product view files will make it heavier in size.)

Hello K. Mahanta,

I think that its acceptable with CreoView Express as its a free viewer but we have a dire need for a viewer that can view feature parameters directly from the native Proe files. I think that the full version of CreoView should have this capability. As of now our quality inspectors have to use extra seats of Proe for viewing.Thats not very cost efficent for us. That is why I asked this question over a year ago. I wanted to know if the full version of CreoView will be able to do this. Isn't that the whole philosophy of Creo anyway?
