It seems that Creo 3.0 Beta is available to use for some customers, but it is still not in download list. Do you get Creo 3.0 Beta media?

I just got from GS team. I think you may seek help from GS team or Technical support team.

Creo 3.0 Beta is available for testing to only selected people - a mix of both customers and tech folks associated with PTC (Employees, Partner AE's).

I don't think everyone who is interested can grab a license of it to work upon.

regards,

Amarkarthi.

Hi Amar,

Are you PTC Employees or Partner AE's? Could you please share Creo 3.0 Beta installation files or some What's new introduction material to me since I'm very interested in it and want to tryout? Thank you.

Amar might be right. I asked my sales guy for a copy and he sent me info on a PTC Beta test event at corporate or them sending a QA guy to our site for testing. Doesnt seem like they want to hand it out to everyone. Must want some controlled testing so the get the needed feedback.

Or I found that, before posting, you click in the post, and then click the button to unlink it, it will relink it automatically in the process of posting and will work correctly.

Thanks, Dale

Just following up on Creo Parametric 3.0 progress. Some of you clearly have it installed and are using the software. Any reviews of the software? Are there things you do like, don't like as compared to Creo 2.0?

PTC must have fixed the help... it is half the size of previous version.

But why did they separate out 32 and 64 bit? It was in one package for Creo 1 and Creo 2.

Creo 3.0 installation media includes PTC another software Mathcad, the size of Mathcad is about 1.2 GB, one package for Creo 3.0 is more than one DVD size. So PTC has to divide into 2 packages.

They used to send out 3 CD's for WF3 then 5 CD's for WF4. Why not 2 DVD's? This means when I run my silent install for Creo 3 I have to check for wheather the OS is 32 or 64 bit. For Creo 2 install I don't have to do that.
