Wrong edge sight

Hello,

 

i have a problem.

In my drawing, a component that I added as a STEP file from an external source is displayed with all of its edges. This error only occurs with the parts that I add externally. How can I set that only the visible edges are displayed for these components? Attached you will find a picture.

Your step file is coming in as a surface model instead of a solid model.
