Character width changes from Version 10 to 12

Hello,

we are currently migrating all clients to Version 12 due to pdf accessibility requirements. However, some clients are still using Version 10 Templates. Despite identical settings, the text layout differs between the versions, as the character width has changed.

Is there a way to configure Version 12 so that it matches Version 10 exactly? We tried with the "tw"-PI but we can't get it exactly. Some clients are requesting accessible versions of older jobs, and in those cases, the layout must be identical.

Hi Jonas

This related to the change made in V11 to ALD (formerly 3B2) font metrics, from its own to the metrics taken from the TT font itself.

There could be some JS function developed to help get close to the old settings with some insight from PTC. If you interest in this please DM me.
