I have gone through some links for .stl topic, but I cannot find direct answer if there is any way to make a quilt from .stl file (without REX modul)?

I already sent this out on the ETC forum and only had a couple hits on it so I will try this forum so sorry in advance if you recieved this twice.I am looking for help converting a Unigraphics file to a WF5 compatable file. A .prt would be great but a good .stp file would work just as well. If anyone could help me out with this, it would be much appreciated. I know we tried an iges file and curves were not attached and needed clean up before it would be usable. Not sure whatit would beusing the actual file and how much clean up work would be needed butI will send the file to only those that respond with interest in helping a fellow user out.Thanks in advance,Shane V.

We are still using WF 2.0 (M270)... We have always been able to open an Excel file directly from the Filelist in the browser. It would open in a separate window, which is veryhandy for searching parts lists etc. We just got one of the regular Windows updates, and now thisfunctionality does not work. A right click on the file brings up theopen/ open in new window/ etc. menu, but it does not work. A doubleclick doesn't work any more either. Any ideas? We can see ‘protkmt.lib’ and ‘protk_dll.lib’ in WF 5 distribution so notsure why PTC gave you that reply.If that is the case you should approach PTC with your linking problem too.They might be the best option to resolve this.Regards,Vinay

Hi,is it possible in WF4 to do a "Create Bend" with a K-Factor instead of a bend table?? With "Create Flat Wall" and "Create Flange Wall" I can choose between a bend table and a "custom" K-factor, but Create Bend doesn't seem to give me the choice?!Thanks in advance!Regards,Jaap

I have a round model with different shapes and cutoutson the inside and outside of the model. I want to show a cross-section of 2 sections of this model. I have tried using a ofset section of it but the section that is on an angle from the straight section is not un-folded it is a straight view so it is not giving me the full section of it. How do I unfold the section or for lack of a better word rotate that angled section so I see it as a full section? I am using Pro-E Wildfire 3.0. Any help would be appreciated Thanks

When you copy files, using save as or other methods, you get a new file with a new filename, but the same name as the original file.The file name search in the model tree search tab shows the name, not the filename in the results window. So it may show you two or more items with identical names, but the file names for each would be different. Pro/Users (or should I say planetPTC'ers?), Back at it again with another link to a short video tip from acontributor (AB) at Pro|HOMEPAGE. This isa new Wildfire 5.0 technique that slipped through the cracks until recently discovered. If you Project curves, you will like this one. Yes, it is a very specific case, but we have already found several scenarios where this is a big time saver.

Not long ago our headquarters decided to change the enterprise PDM system from Intralink3.4 to Teamcenter. They did this for nearly all the satellite sites as well, with the exception of the facility I'm at. However, we are scheduled to migrate our datain the near future as well (Windchill 9.1 to Teamcenter).Recently I've heard some comments from one of the other satellite sites that are causing some concern. Theproblems appear to be significant both in terms of severity and quantity. I've also heard of some of the trials and tribulations that CAT went through in their attempt to use Teamcenter along with Pro/E, which does not paint a pretty picture.My question to the usergroup is this; Does anyone have experience with a Teamcenter-Pro/E integration and what are the major pitfalls and/or benefitsto look out for?Please be specific; replies of "it sucks" or "it integrates flawlessly", while valid opinions, don't really explain the reason behind the opinion.Thanks

Does anyone know what option lets me see what modules has been loaded when Pro/E first starts? My old Wildfire 2.0 used to do it and now that I loaded 5.0 it no longer shows the dialog box on start up.Thanks,Jay
