Here are a few solutions:Just slap a chamfer on the hole... (i.e., the "old school" way)
It seems that if you're not placing a standard hole, that to get a countersink, you have to go to a sketched hole.Is this true?ThanksMike

RE: [draft] Import ACAD 2000 DWGAs I suspected it was an operator error (akaID10T error). As all of you suggested the cause was space in the filename,i.e. in order for ProE to be able to read the file name there cannot be anyspaces in it, duh! Thanks to all who replied.Jack############################Users-I know it can be done, because I did it before, but now I cannot open anative AutoCAD DWG file in Wildfire. The file was created in ACAD 2004, butis saved as R14, yet when I go to File->Open, nothing shows up except forthe DWG I exported from ProE.Thanks for all your help.JackWildfire 2.0 M130

I have no problem with PTC tech either. I always use web support and usually they call within an hour. I think there is a real advantage with web support. First of all your problem gets broadcast to allot of tec people and usually only someone who is familiar with it will call you back. Plus it gives them time to research it before they call you back. With phone support you are stuck with whoever is next on the line and they may not know anything about your particular problem so they tend to stumble around with you and end up having to call you back anyway.Gerald[Lanz, Gerald]
Thanks for your email.I am out of town until July 16th and will reply upon my return.Blessings!Paul Andrews

Hi All,Yeah, that's what's happening! When he exits Pro/e all files except a trail file, a .out file and a .wav are deleted from his start-in directory.Anyone ever hear of such a thing? We tried both M120 and M130 of WFII.Funny thing is that it just all started doing this today!Dan SchurrCAD FacilitatorEATON Corporation13100 E. Can anyone tell me how to measure the X,Y, and Z delta distances in WF-2? Whenever I attempt to measure a distance, the result is always skewed on an angle. I try projecting the result onto a plane, but sometimes the measurement line is along a compound angle. Thanks,Val
Hi again,If you use an &string to fill in a value in the customize dialog box, the value comes out with 6 decimal places. Ie. if I use &pocket_number for the tool number, I get 131.000000. How do I remove/control the decimal places?Jeff VoegeleSolar Turbines
To everyone, I have several models that have a mix of Metric and English units. The same model that gave me a seal 25.4 too big has been fixed in one model but is still, way to big in another. Happy Friday, Everyone:Since our migrate to WFII, we have been experiencing a problem when tryingto edit definitions of hardware. When editing the definition of a washer, after giving the standard insert and mate constraints, Pro says thecomponent isn't fully constrained and wants more. When this happens, thecheckbox for "allow assumptions" does not exist in the dialog box, and extraorient constraints don't satisfy Pro - so far, the only constraint that I'vefound to satisfy it is to use the "fix" option. Has anyone else had thisproblem and figured out how to fix it, short of deleting the component andassembling a fresh model of it, necessitating a reroute of its children? We're on build M070.Thanks,
