We are considering replacing our existing Xerox 8830DDS with a Xerox 6050for our printing/scanning needs. If you are using a Xerox 6050, I aminterested in your positive/negative comments regarding its use with Pro/Efiles. This may have been addressed earlier, I apologize if it has and PTC is currently investigating my issue.I noticed that default parts when shaded are a darker uglier color in WF2. I'm trying to re-establish the same default coloring that I had in 2001. PTC states that they are still using the same default color. PTC has messed with the lighting in WF2 such that tell if the lighting is the same in 2001 & WF2. I saved a 2001 lighting file and read it in WF2 without any success. Has anyone else noticed this ? Any fixes ?ThanksCarl
Can someone out there convert my company logo to an iges so I can use itin pro?

Hello again Pro/UsersI am posting the Summary to my original thread on the Pro-User section. Idid not realize the original thread went out on the system-managmentsection.I am sure I would have received many more replies from this section thanthe system-management section, but I think I accomplished what I wantedfrom the thread anyway.Quick update for those who did not receive it in the system-managementsection:I believe PTC has a terrible site. There. That's about it.Now for the summary:99% of the replies agree with me on my point. Let me clear one thing upfirst. My complaint surrounded the difficulties in finding PTC Universitybut I was only using this as an example of why PTC's site is badlydesigned. The problem extends to many other areas of the site. My currentdifficulties had to do with PTC University, so I focused on that to make apoint. So please quick sending emails with the Direct Link to PTC-U. Iknow the direct link. The problem is that if you had to search for it onthe site
And the winner is....Frank Menedez Thanks for the help.
The gentleman listed in the following post wanted to ask a question so I am posting it for him. Please reply to Sonny directly if you might be able to assist him. Thanks!Rick==Rick SniderExecutive Director, PTC/USER

Running 2001 build 2004290.At home Pro saves the "file open history" between sessions. In other words, if I close Pro, then open it a day later it still has the history of what I opened the day before. This only works on my home computer, not on the one at work.Does anyone know why this is?ThanksMike Singer

Colleagues, Thanks to everyone who responded. I received so many respones that indicated that I had everything correct and that it should work that I went back and gave it one more try. Well I must have held my tongue right this time because it worked like a charm. Thanks again to everyone who replied.Dave

Ok. the consensus is that my post is adding all the coordinate systems. Unfortunately, I didn't write the post, nor do I have any experience with the post, nor do I have the budget to pay someone to fix my post (sound familiar?). So.... does anyone have any good reading on the subject? Any idea where I should start? Thanx for the help so far, its been great. Tony
We are having a problem with ProE taking 8 minutes to start up on all of ourworkstations. We see the following error messages even though it does startup after the 8 minute wait. This is the norm now. Setting HOOPS_PICTURE to x11/:0.0...
Pardon me for the simple questions that I should already know the answer to. Since I didn't set up this system, I don't know all the details. Unfortunately, I'm the only one around to run it now. When I post a program, it enters a coordinate system with each tool that is called. Is there any way to eliminate this coord. system call? Since I replicate my programming for multiple stations, I need to edit the .tap file to change the coord. system anyway. It would just save me the hassle of 'search & replace'.... Also, is there an easy way to change the default coordinate system that is used? ThanxTony
Hello,Hole tables for standard holes can have CounterSink diameters for top and bottom (CSINKDIAM and BOTCSINKDIAM). But these diameters depend on the presence of a thread. Can this be accomplished ?E.g. :a standard hole for a M10 has Csinkdiam = 11a standard through hole, for passage of a M10, has a diameter of 11 and Csinkdiam = 12.Any ideas?, Hugo.
